How Can ANYONE Believe THIS Stuff?

You know I used to think Americans were rational, patriotic, educated and down to earth, however the last 10 years have proven my thinking to be erroneous and naive. I cannot see how it is possible for people to believe the things I hear. What is worse is many of them are so convinced that what they believe has some basis in reality that they are willing to become violent over what can only be described as delusional thoughts.

Again I pick on the media, they seem to thrive on feeding the conspiracies to a fevered pitch. It is not just FOX, or Rush Limbaugh, or Keith Olberman or Rachel Maddow, or any of the other so called "NEWS" stations acting alone. It seems for every ludicrous and audacious claim launched against the politician of the day, they clamor to step up the rhetoric. They are all guilty of it, even though they each claim innocence. The TRUTH is, they are paid a sickening amount of money to generate propaganda that gets ratings up. Let's look at some of the conspiracies to cross the wires.

First of all, I want to address my all time favorite conspiracy. This is the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center. Now what I write here is not in anyway what I believe to be the truth, it is the narration of things I have heard other people say, and in NO WAY want any of this attached to my own person, I am simply writing on the idiocy and empty claims I have seen spewed across the internet, and spoken from die hard fanatics who really believe this stuff.

It is an undeniable fact that the United States was in fact attacked by terrorists on September 11th, 2001. It is a fact that thousands of innocent lives were ended that sad day, and that Americans to this day still feel the pain and loss of this cowardly act. I believe they have an idea of the people involved, I believe that it can be tied to Osama Bin Laden. I also believe that much past the facts, the things people are willing to believe is almost as terrifying as the events of that day.

I have heard the story a million times, in a thousand different versions, but in the end it all comes down to a simple conspiracy that is as insane as anything Charles Manson has ever said or done. It boils down to the fact that people are actually convinced, that the US government in collusion with a sitting President actually had a hand in the attack. Does anyone see how insane this is?

Do you really expect a person to believe that George Bush sat by and allowed this country to be attacked? That he intentionally, with malice and aforethought allowed the events of 9/11 to happen, and did NOTHING? You must be a complete whackjob to even think such nonsense. I may not be a big fan of George Bush Jr., but I am not going to accuse the man of killing Americans, I am not even willing to harbor that idea. Bush may not have had the best presidency, but I am certain that this man would NEVER allow anyone to attack this country.

Now we move on to another conspiracy that boggles my mind. This one I fear is more out of racial intolerance, hatred and ignorance, than anything based on actual facts. The "Obama Is NOT An American Citizen" group is truly one to watch in amazement.

Again I find it very hard to believe that people think there is any truth in this whatsoever, it is almost as stupid as hearing "Obama was sworn in with a Quran". Let us look at this logically for a second shall we.

Are these people trying to convince me that the United States government aided and abetted a foriegn citizen in achieving the highest office in the land? That somehow in a vetting process that can pretty much outline a detailed time line of every time a candidate has used the bathroom, that they somehow missed he was born in Kenya? The level of insanity to actually believe this one staggers me. Anyone who truly believes this whopper should have a jacket that ties in the back.

Even the Republican governor of Hawaii, who said that she has seen physical evidence that confirms Obama was born in Hawaii is now called a liar. As far as seeing the ORIGINAL Birth Certificate.... well I have one, and they will not show ME the original of my very own birth certificate, because that is just the way it is. It is not a denial of his citizenship to NOT show the mans birth certificate to the world, in fact it is their legal obligation to not show it to you at all. GET OVER IT!

John Mc Cain was not born in the United States, however that issue is seldom raised at all.

Since I mentioned John Mc Cain, let's address one of my favorites about him as well. There is a rumor that was hugely popular among some during the campaign, that John Mc Cain was not a prisoner of war, and that during his stay with the Viet Cong he actually gained weight. The rumor goes on to say that he earned favor with his captors by selling out American positions and strategies. Again I have to ask... Are you for real?

As we all know one cannot say anything about John Mc Cain without the mention of Sarah Palin. So I will address some of the things I have heard about her as well. My all time favorite about Sarah Palin is the she had John Mc Cain's child. That one makes me laugh so hard I almost pee my pants. That is one of the many doozies about her I have heard. Another of my favorites is that she is a "stupid bimbo". I do not know what YOU made in the last year, but last I looked Palin had made MILLIONS........ maybe she isn't so stupid afterall.

Ann Coulter was a man! There are tons of blogs and websites that say they have evidence to prove this claim.

Barbara Bachman is a lesbian... Yeah that one is a gut tickler as well.

Levi Johnston was a meth cook......HILARIOUS

Bin Laden is a cook at the Crawford ranch........REALLY?
