Blind Injustice

Free No More...........

The recent ruling by U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton should send shivers down every American's spine. It is the fatal blow to the rights of American's to halt the tide of illegal immigration by allowing immigrants more rights than those given to an American citizen. The fact that they are now immune to status checks even on legal stops by law enforcement shows that this judge is ignorant to typical traffic stop procedures.

In all fifty states, if you are pulled over by a law enforcement officer, you are ran through the NCIC database for wants and warrants, they run a scope on American citizens, and if something comes up, they will arrest, detain and depending on the severity of the crime may choose to extradite. Illegals no longer have to worry, they have a free pass, they cannot even be asked what their status is, or law enforcement agencies will be accused of racial profiling.

In an article by Associated Press, the reporter openly spoke with illegals in Arizona who were jubilant over the ruling. One openly admitted being here since 1989, while another said the ruling made him "feel good inside". It is now open season on the rights of Americans, we no longer have a right to secure borders, we no longer have the right too insist people use the legal immigration process to enter our country, and we know longer have the right for our own law enforcement officers to enforce the laws of the land.

The statistics reveal that 1 in 5 illegal immigrants has a criminal record in the U.S., in Illinois an illegal alien driving without a drivers license killed a family of four in a collision. In Arizona ranchers have been the victims of criminal acts from misdemeanors to felonies committed by illegal immigrants, and still the federal government does NOTHING.

Illegals can now gather in huge numbers in marked protest, criminals have a right to gather and oppose on our soil. How dare anyone stand up and be against them, politicians are too worried about the Hispanic vote to dare make a stand for Americans. However; if Americans gather in opposition of these criminals breaking into our country, the police will be out in force with riot gear to quell any uprising. How dare Americans stand up for the laws set forth to protect its citizens.

Today is the first volley in a war the federal government has declared on its own citizens. Get ready America, the bill we will be forced to pay with our tax dollars to support, feed, clothe, house and treat illegal aliens will be staggering. It is now painfully obvious that the term "illegal" now longer means anything, I hope that lawyers across the country do not adopt the federal governments definition of "illegal", or soon even cold blooded murder will not be a crime.

Robert,

I share your frustration with this ruling. Perhaps the people in Arizona should provide a house "right on the border" for Judge Bolton to live in.

I very much believe that the FEDERAL government is stepping over the line of the authority of individual states. It's about time the states take back the control.

Arizona could stand on the same premise Andrew Jackson did when the U.S. Supreme court ruled that the Indian Removal Act was unconstitutional.

His response was, "So let the members of the supreme court enforce their ruling."

He then sent the army into Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi to forcibly move the Indians onto reservations in the Oklahoma territories.

I would stand behind Arizona if their response was, "So let Judge Bolton come and enforce her ruling. As for Arizona, were going to protect our state and the legal citizens who live here. "

Good job, Robert, it is mind-boggling that we Americans have to produce insurance and valid ID, and pay the consequences if we don't have them, yet an illegal is deemed to privileged and pained to be asked to pack and show their green card when asked. Unbelievable. This judge has basically declared that the federal law is .....?? wrong, unjust, etc...

It's time to end the born in the USA, reap the USA, law. It's archaic and damaging our country.

Great hub Robert. From what I understand, the police can still ask to see ID, IF they think it is warranted. This injunction only stops requiring them to do so. Still, the federal government is playing around with this issue hoping to garner attention or votes instead of dealing with the real issue of border security.

I am thinking the states rights vs federal rights issue will become a prominent theme soon. Could get ugly.

Open up the borders for a more just world and a more powerful North America. A successful Mexico means a more secure United States. Lets help out our American brothers, Mexico, and stop selling them weapons and buying the drugs that are forced through their country by our greed.
